Bailee is a beautiful brindle Border Collie mix born October 15, 2013. Her mother was a purebred Border Collie but dad was unknown.
She is a very happy, wiggly and friendly girl with lots of energy. She loves playing with other dogs and so another energetic dog in her new home would be best. Not only will it be more fun for Bailee – but it will make her new family’s life much easier if she has another dog to help drain some of her energy so she is able to settle nicely in the house. She is learning that sitting quietly will get her lots of attention and treats, and jumping up on people will get her nothing. She is very smart and learns quickly, but sometimes she is just so darn exuberant she forgets. She is food motivated, extremely agile, loves to climb on things like snow banks, big rocks, tree stumps, and is very fast. I think she would love doing agility!
Bailee is crate trained, rides nicely in the car, and has just been introduced to the kiddie pool and obviously loves water. She is doing very well on her housetraining but because she is still young, needs to be supervised so she does not make mistakes!
Because of her already high energy level, Bailee will not be adopted to a home with young children. She currently lives with a cat, and other than wanting to constantly play…is doing just fine with him.
Bailey has been spayed, microchipped and is current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
If you are interested in adopting Bailee you must apply and be approved first. You can find the online application on our website at:
