I am very curious if there is a link to an application for adoption of a puppy on your web site. I have read about filling out an application, but am unable to find one to fill out. Any help would be appreciated. Also, where exactly is North Star located, and how do you get foster homes in different states and areas? Do Shelters contact your organization if border collies are brought in? Thank you so much for your time, I am just very curious on how your organization works. Also, whoever takes the photographs of your foster dogs does an excellent job. Each dog is shown off to the best of their nature. Beautiful pics.

We have Foster Homes in several states. Some are people who adopted from North Star and became involved in rescue. Others have been doing rescue work for years and have signed up to be foster homes. Currently we have 1 Foster Home in Illinois, 1 in Ohio, 1 in Indiana and 5 in Michigan from Kalamazoo to Alpena.

There are various sources that notify us of Border Collies in danger, some are the shelters themselves as the dogs near the date they will be put to sleep.

We are very fortunate to have Toni who has taken the majority of the outstanding pictures of the dogs. We also have Beth that takes great pictures.
