Lacey was an 8 week old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, one of three surrendered to a shelter, when acquired by North Star. This lucky girl went home with her forever family on January 1, 2010.

Lacey was born on October 24, 2009 and is believed to be a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix puppy. She has a soft fluffy coat and the cutest freckles. She is a black, white and brown tri-color. and currently weighs 12 pounds. She was one of 3 siblings surrendered to the shelter. She came into North Star on December 22, 2009.

Lacey is a very energetic and confident pup. This girl doesn't have a fearful bone in her body and loves to wrestle and play with her big brother Dillon and her little sister Darcie. However, when you pick her up she loves to snuggle in your arms and be loved. She doesn't let any of the other dogs push her around, and is quick as a cat.

We think she has picked up a bug from the shelter and so are treating her with antibiotics. She has also received two of the three treatments of wormer she needed. She is scheduled for her first round of puppy shots on Monday, December 28. She will also be microchipped at that time.

Lacey will need to be in foster care a minimum of two weeks before she can be adopted.
