Sadie came to North Star on April 21, 2012 as an owner surrender. She is a purebred Border Collie born June 28, 2011 who was purchased by her prior owner along with one of her littermates when they were just eight weeks of age. As the puppies grew, the owner realized this was more energy than the family could deal with and asked North Star to take her in and find her a good home.
Sadie is an active girl who needs a job to do. She is smart as they come, athletic and eager to learn. She needs someone with prior Border Collie experience who is willing to challenge her mind to keep her out of trouble. She will be spayed and brought up to date on all her vaccinations. She has been tested for heartworm and is negative. She is currently on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative and has been microchipped.
Sadie is being fostered near Kalamazoo, Michigan.
